Ian Paterson Brown Chairman
Ian Paterson Brown (“IPB”) is a Scottish Chartered Accountant and a former chairman of the Scottish Institute of Chartered Accountants Ethics Committee. He spent 10 years with what is now KPMG before getting involved in the financial services industry where he finally became finance director of a global listed asset management business with AUM of circa £130 billion. His areas of expertise are wide ranging but include Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Integration and Strategy.
He is now retired from full time employment and is a director or Chairman of some 7 businesses ranging from Private equity to import and distribution from China and India. He is a major shareholder in 3 of the 7 businesses and seeks to back his own ability
