We are pleased to announce that we have open sourced our intraLibrary Moodle Plugin.
You can now add intraLibrary integration to your Moodle application by installing a set of intraLibrary plugins. This initial open-source release is targeting Moodle 2.7.2 and contains 5 individual plugins:
- 3 repository plugins for A) searching, B) uploading, and C) processing/uploading IMS packages
- 1 block plugin, which creates a Moodle block that links to a “File For Sharing” form for quick uploads
- 1 filter plugin for embedding Kaltura videos
Documentation for the plugins is available here.
The main feature is intraLibrary search, which is available through the File picker interface visible in the following screenshot:
Depending on the File picker’s context, a certain set of the intraLibrary repositories (search, upload, IMS upload) will be visible.
While you can upload from the Moodle Filepicker in order to share and use a file all at once, you can also upload files for future use via the “File For Sharing” form:
Please note that intraLibrary 3.7+ is required
