Roddy manages an information service for engineers. He wants to provide information on the contents of repositories. He gets this information via OAI-PMH. Many of the repositories from which he harvests are not specific to engineering and don't have subject based sets. There is no single subject classification scheme in use within the existing metadata. The metadata is of varying quality, sometimes subject is specified as highly granular level.

Scenario 1: Roddy takes the entire feed from each repository and attempts to identify the individual resources relevant to engineering. However, he may not have access to the full text of the resources.

Scenario 2: Each repository uses AMG to identify relevant resources to Roddy's satisfaction.
