Assessment Item Banks and Repositories - A JISC CETIS Briefing Paper | 26/01/2007

In 2006 JISC CETIS commissioned three papers on assessment item banks, including a briefing paper from Intrallect examining the relationship between assessment item banks and repositories.

The briefing gives an overview of the functional requirements of each type of system, and where the similarities and differences lie. Common features, interfaces and standards are summarised, along with an overview of how a repository may be developed for use as an assessment item bank.
